Why is Facebook avatar not available on my Facebook?

Facebook avatars are the response of the Facebook app to Bitmoji, which enables users to create cartoon-like emojis of themselves. Since debuting in New Zealand and Australia earlier in the year, they went to the UK and the rest of Europe in April. Although an avatar was easily produced by millions of Americans, others had trouble due to some technological hitches. All should have access to avatars, according to Fidji Simo, head of the Facebook App. People can click on the three horizontal bars on the top right of their phone screen to access the feature before selecting “see more”. Some users, however, posting on Reddit’s social news site claim Facebook avatar not available.

A poster said that they might click on the FB avatar app but nothing happened, and with their complaint, other users replied with a similar complaint on the Facebook avatar is missing. For all operating systems, Facebook bosses said the program should have been rolled out.

As individuals reported problems, Fidji Simo found two possible fixes to the issue. She suggested that if the Facebook avatar is not available on your app, you should go to the stickers and pick the purple face, which should allow customization of the avatar.

Ms. Simo also suggested that people that their Facebook avatar is missing, they should go to bookmarks and search under “see more for Avatars. In the footsteps of Bitmoji, a development of the technology company Bitstrips, Facebook Avatars have allowed individuals to create an emoji of their own likeness.
