Samsung Galaxy A40 Review

Let us take a look at the features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A40.

Body and Design

The Samsung Galaxy A40 is one of the most beautiful and elegant in the A series in terms of architecture. The back of the glass displays stunning effects depending on the color you’ve selected. For example, when you transfer a white model, it sparkles in all colors. While the blue, black, and coral models still shine with some light reflections, they are not as stunning as the white ones.

The Galaxy A40 is the coolest to carry in one hand as it is the smallest and slimmest smartphone in the series. It measures 144.3 x 69.0 x 7.9 mm and has a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display (1080 x 2220) with a Super AMOLED screen.

As a unique feature of the reduced mid-range series, Samsung uses the AMOLED display of most A-series smartphones. The Galaxy A40 is no exception here and also features a reasonable 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution, which relates to a more extended Full HD resolution.

Operations and Processor

The smartphone features an Exynos 7884 chipset powered by a lovely 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory that can be extended to 512GB with a dedicated microSD card slot. The mobile makes both a dual SIM and a microSD card at the same time.

Amazingly, there is an option for FM radio and NFC and the new version of Bluetooth 5.0. The USB connection allows data to be transmitted at USB-2.0 speed only. Another fantastic news is that the smartphone features a USB Type-C port, currently a trendy USB port.

Compared to the 2018 Samsung Galaxy A6, the organization of the camera has changed dramatically. The smartphone now features a dual-camera system on the back and a very transparent lens on the front of the smartphone.

The primary camera also has 16 megapixels and an additional 5-megapixel secondary lens with a wide-angle of 123 degrees. You should expect the most beautiful picture quality and the most.

Front Camera

The front camera quality is one of Samsung Galaxy A40’s most vital points and its core selling point in the market. Samsung has proven to be the king of smartphones when it comes to camera quality, and regardless of the price, this mid-range smartphone goes for, they still displayed their class here. Selfie pictures are about to go light with Galaxy A40 with a staggering 25 MP.

This is not the largest Samsung smartphone in terms of screen size, but the resolution is top-notch. Its 5.9 inches FHD+ is one of the very best in the mid-range category, and fans should savor this scintillating screen quality. Samsung at their best.

Galaxy A10 features an exciting 64 GB internal memory storage capacity and an even more compelling option of expanding the size to up to 512 GB. Some reports have emerged claiming the smartphone allows up to 1 TB expandable storage option.

Battery Capacity

Perhaps the worst news anyone would love to hear about the smartphone. The Galaxy A40 features only a 3100 mAh battery capacity, one of the least in its category, to the surprise of many. Although it boasts a fast charging feature, it does not console for the strangely small battery capacity.
