Facebook Messenger Rooms is a videoconferencing function that allows you to video chat with up to 50 people at the same time.

It is not necessary to be a Facebook user to join the Facebook Messenger rooms. To put it another way, you don’t have to have a Facebook account to join a message room.

There is also no limit on how long you can video chat in the room with this new video conferencing capability.

Furthermore, unless you modify your choices, the Facebook messaging room is open to everyone of your Facebook friends.

Participants may not need to download, log in, or connect to Messenger to join your call, depending on your room settings.

I’ll show you how to construct and use Facebook messenger rooms in this article.

Things to Keep in Mind When Using Facebook Messenger Rooms

The following are some things you should not know about Facebook Messenger rooms.

  • For individuals to join, the person who created the room normally has to be present.
  • Only the person who established the room has the ability to close it, lock it, or remove its participants.
  • Others will see your Facebook profile name, profile photo, and that you are in the room if you are logged in to Facebook or Messenger when you join a room.
  • The video conversation is not secured from beginning to end.
  • Once a call has started, messenger rooms can be locked or opened.
  • Any undesired participants can be removed by the room creator.
  • Anyone in the room has the option to leave if they are uncomfortable.
  • If participants believe the room name violates Facebook Community Standards, they can complain it.
  • If you and someone you’ve blocked on Facebook or Messenger are both logged in, they won’t be able to join the same room as you.
  • If you’ve blocked someone’s messages or calls on Messenger, you’ll get a notification if you’re going to enter a room with them. Then you can decide whether or not to join the room.
  • When a room creator uses Facebook Live to broadcast a room, it gets shared on Facebook, and people outside the room may see what’s going on.

How To Share The Link To Your Facebook Room

You can invite others to join your room by sharing the URL. Follow the instructions below to share the link to your room.

  1. Click Copy from your room.
