The Vlast Deneg magazine has included the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Darnitsa in the annual rating of the most popular and economically successful brands registered in Ukraine.
This year, the rating is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence and includes a list of companies, products, and media that have had a significant impact on the development of the state’s economy and contributed to its entering international markets in the time period beginning 1991, Delovaya Stolitsa writes.
According to the creators of the rating, in 2021 Darnitsa has the status of a leader in the production of medicines in Ukraine according to independent research of the pharmaceutical market. And this is only logical, because, as Dmytro Shymkiv, the chairman of the Darnitsa Group board of directors, said the company’s products are exported to 16 countries around the world. Due to this fact, Darnitsa is also included in the rating of the largest pharmaceutical company in the world, The Pharma 1000.
Vlast Deneg draws attention to the efforts the pharmaceutical company makes to form an efficient and modern production process. Thus over 14 years, the company has invested an average of 4 billion hryvnias in digitalization, development, and technical modernization of the production. This allowed Darnitsa to receive an international GMP certificate and to launch the production of more than 200 types of medicinal products approved by clinical trials in the European Union.
According to Dmytro Shymkiv, Darnitsa is regularly included in the lists of the most successful Ukrainian companies. This spring entered the Top 3 most expensive domestic brands.
The company’s resilience to financial crises and other global economic shocks is attributed to successful strategic planning, as the publication assumes. Ratings confirm this. Thus the experts from the Correspondent publication named Darnitsa one of the leaders in sustainable development.
Dmytro Shymkiv noted that Darnitsa’s tendency towards leadership began a long time ago, back in 2016 the company took 13th place in the rating of the most innovative companies by Forbes magazine, and this year it was mentioned in the top 25 digitalization leaders.
The pharmaceutical company Darnitsa was founded in 1930. Since 1998, it has been the leader in Ukraine in terms of the volume of drug production in physical terms. The company’s mission is to help healthcare professionals and patients improve their quality of life through science, innovation, and accessibility to everyone. The company’s portfolio includes 210 brands of medicines. The beneficiaries of the company are the Zagoriy family.
