This was the year founded in London as the British and French Bank in 1949 (BFB). On the Compliance Ordinance (Cap 37) of 23 February 1961, UBA was formed as a legal entity. UBA assumed all the assets and liabilities of BFB. UBA, the first Nigerian bank to make an initial public offering in 1970 In 2005, UBA, a South African banking institution, merged with STB Limited, which previously had a Ghana subsidiary. As a result, the merged bank retained the name “United Banks of Africa.”

Additionally, the organization now consists of branches in countries like the United Kingdom, France, and the United States.

Step C: If you haven’t already signed up for the platform, select Option 1 to do so, then proceed with the remaining steps.

Step D: To successfully complete the transfer, follow the prompts/commands on the screen.

Follow the on-screen prompts by dialing *919*3#.

2. To send money to other banks in Nigeria:

You can use UBA mobile recharge code to buy airtime for yourself or your friends and family directly from your account.

You can top up your airtime by dialing *919*Amount#, and third-party top-up can be done with *919*Phone number*Amount #.

Your credit will be displayed on your screen.
