Bumble Dating Site | Bumble without Facebook – Because of its unique features, Bumble is quickly gaining ground on Tinder. It draws more female consumers by encouraging women to lead conversations. As a consequence, more male users participate, prompting others to step up their game. This applies to me as someone who has frequently prioritized consistency over quantity.

Bumble, like Tinder, uses Facebook to build your profile. Bumble, like Tinder, is a taker, not a giver, because it won’t notify your Facebook buddies that you’re using the app or add something on Facebook while you’re using it.
Does Bumble filter Facebook friends?
The chance of seeing acquaintances, family, or coworkers on these Facebook-based applications is the only drawback. Alternatively, they might see you. The initial query was whether or not Bumble filters or removes Facebook contacts, and the response is that we have no idea. To find out, I performed some tests with a group of mates.
I shared 13 acquaintances with the acquaintance with whom I conducted this experiment. It only turned up in 7 of our profiles. Another friend and I shared 42 common acquaintances, the bulk of which were from college, but only 27 of them were available in Bumble. Although this is a tiny sample, it does mean that some form of filtering or omission exists. Either that or Bumble’s extrapolation of Facebook friend data is inaccurate.
Your name, username, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth, sexual orientation, photos, venue, and login details will be collected, according to Bumble. It would also provide links to your friend’s lists and pieces from other social networking sites you have connected to Facebook, such as Instagram and others. It claims it can just disclose what it wants to share openly, but it doesn’t mention much regarding filtering, exclusions, or how Bumble operates.
Bumble without Facebook
If you’re concerned about ‘bumping into’ mutual mates or partners on Bumble, there’s some positive news. After April 2018, Bumble has provided a way to build a profile without using Facebook. You’ll be able to log in and construct an account using just your phone number rather than connecting the two versions.
This is a response to people avoiding Facebook and being understandably concerned with the information they share online. As a result of the data-sharing controversies and how Facebook interferes with daily life, thousands of users have deleted their Facebook profiles. Bumble doesn’t want this to stop people from entering, so they’ve developed a way for people to access the dating platform without using Facebook.
“Many of our consumers and prospective users have asked for a way to register for Bumble without linking their Facebook account,” Jessica Collins, Bumble’s product marketing manager, said in a statement on April 16; “we are excited to carry out this feature to our users starting today.” The organization notes, “We’re poised to extend globally to new audiences while retaining the Bumble app that our consumers know and enjoy.”
This is good news for Bumble users who like to keep their personal and work lives apart. Bumble did enlist the support of Facebook for registration and identity testing. The best decision was always to pick ‘Check in with Facebook’ and let the software do the rest. We didn’t know how risky it might be. Because of Cambridge Analytica, we all know not to use Facebook to log into something that gathers personal information.
Do it yourself
Now that you can sign up with Bumble with your phone number, it’s a no-brainer to do so. Established Bumble users will choose to change their accounts, and new users would almost probably want to use the phone instead of Facebook. It does mean you’ll have to create and upload your profile and photos, but it also means you’ll have the full power of who knows what and when.
The one thing Bumble hasn’t said on how they’ll check accounts is how they’ll do it. One of the most significant aspects about Bumble was how few scammers there were relative to other dating applications. Using Facebook to check accounts was, at the very least, a realistic way to guarantee that everyone was sincere. How can Bumble verify the authenticity of their users without that element? Since I can’t find a solution right now, I recommend being extra cautious when meeting people via the app.
