  • To deactivate Messenger after you’ve deactivated your Facebook account:
  • Open the Messenger (mobile app or web)
  • Tap your profile picture in the top left corner > Privacy & Terms > Hit on Deactivate Messenger button.
  • Enter your password and tap on Continue
  • Tap Deactivate
