Net value: 8.4 billion dollars (approximately 3 trillion 46 billion). Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor of Lagos’s State from May 1999 to May 2007, is one of the richest politicians in Nigeria. Bola Tinubu is also reportedly the owner of Oando PLC, the largest oil production company in Nigeria, with a turnover of around $449 million and being the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress party.

Oluremi Tinubu, a senator representing the Lagos Central Senate District, is married to Jagaban of Lagos. Seyi Tinubu, one of his children, has been named to all parastatals and local governments in Lagos State as an emergency financial consultant. Bola Tinubu is also showing his desire to become President of Nigeria in 2023.
Tinubu’s most significant controversies include the lawsuit in which its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer accuses Tinubu’s consultancy firm Alpha Beta of N100bn money laundering, tax evasion, and fraud (Sep 2018). Bola Tinubu was charged with participation in a white heroin distribution network active between 1988 and 1993 in the US only at the beginning of 2020.
The landed assets of Bola Tinubu spread throughout Nigeria are worth over 120 billion, including the mansion at Bourdillon drive, Ikoyi, Lagos, worth 5 billion. He owns a $600 million G-Wagon, two other Mercedes Benzes, a Range Rover, a Lexus LX 550, and other unspecified luxury cars. Let’s not forget his $60 million worth of Bombardier Global Express XRS, which is probably not his only jet.

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) was born in Niger State on August 17, 1941, and is a businessman and one of the richest politicians who served as military president of Nigeria from August 1985 to August 1993. The rich man is best remembered for the cancellation of the general election of June 12, 1993, during which MKO Abiola was the expected winner. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida also has a $594.7 million private jet.
During his tenure as Major General, Ibrahim Babangida is reported to have appropriated a lot of capital, which he publicly denied. He also owns 65% of London-based Fruitex International Limited, 24% of the second largest telecom firm in Nigeria, Globacom. The net worth of Ibraham Babangida is now ~1 trillion 813 billion ($5 billion), making him Nigeria’s second richest politician.
He has a BMW 760LI (approximately 35.2 million), a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S Class (about 33.7 million), Toyota Land Cruiser (approximately 30.6 million), and other luxury cars in his garage. He flies a Learjet 45 worth $594.7 million as well.

Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR
Net value: 1.6 billion dollars (192 million around 580 billion). Olusegun Obasanjo, or OBJ, is a proud Ogun State native born on March 5, 1938. The former Nigerian Army General has served as Head of State of Nigeria twice: from 1976 to 1979, first as a military dictator, and from 1999 to 2007 as a civilian president.
He also nurtures his passion for aircraft. In addition to automobiles, Obasanjo has been married four times. He married Esther Oluremi, then Lynda, who had been seriously shot by armed men. His third wife was the late Mojisola, too. Stella Obasanjo, his famous fourth wife, served for a while as Nigeria’s First Lady and passed away in 2005 while undergoing abdominoplasty surgery. He is married to Mrs. Bola Obasanjo at the moment. Obasanjo has 20 kids.
OBJ allegedly operates one of the giant chicken poultry farms in West Africa, Otta Farms. While not general knowledge, over 6.5 percent of the total primary oil production, marketing, and distribution in Nigeria is also involved.

Net value: 1.4 billion dollars (approximately 507 billion 668 million). Rochas Okorocha served for two terms as Governor of Imo State, South-East of Nigeria. Just like Ifeanyi Ubah, before he entered politics, he was also flourishing in the industry. He is the founder of a non-profit fund called the Rochas Foundation that develops colleges for disadvantaged children.
