Personal Account Disabled | Why and How to Correct the Problem: It is possible to delete a Facebook account as quickly as it was developed. In the “Security” section of their account settings, users can disable their accounts. Still, often Facebook also disables accounts, either because the user has violated the terms of service or because the version has been identified by others as compromised by malware, phishing apps, or other malicious software. When you disable it and restore your account in its entirety, including all your content, friends, and account settings, you can easily reactivate your account. However, you must contact Facebook to argue your case to get your account reinstated if Facebook has disabled the account without your permission.
Was your Facebook account disabled all of a sudden? Don’t worry, it can happen to anyone (even celebrities like Roger Ebert), and with a little effort and a careful approach, it can usually be fixed.
It would help if you first got acquainted with the Statement of Rights & Responsibilities of Facebook. It’s a lengthy document, we know, but it contains essential guidance on what you should and shouldn’t do on the largest social network in the world.
Why was my Personal account disabled?
Often, an inappropriate photo you have posted is the reason your account has been disabled. Nudity of any kind is a big no-no on Facebook. Hateful comments are also frowned upon using false names and unsolicited contact with other users for “harassment, advertising, promoting, dating, or other inappropriate conduct.” as is impersonating others.
It may also have blocked your account. This means that it has not been entirely disabled, but certain features, such as sending friend requests or messages, can not be used. The block is temporary, but for no reason, Facebook won’t lift it, so you should wait and try to tell yourself what you may have done to cause the block and try not to repeat the offense.
Also, be aware that a third party may have hacked or compromised your account, causing Facebook to disable or block your account if inappropriate content has been posted.

Correcting the Problem
If your account is erroneously disabled, it’s time to take action. Filling out this form, which is available even if you are not logged into Facebook, is the first thing you should do.
To have your account restored, you can also try sending an email to [disabled@facebook.com] to ask why your account has been disabled, as well as explaining that you are willing to delete any offending content.
The support section of Facebook is also available even if you are unable to log into Facebook. This section looks at different alerts and explanations of why you might have disabled your account.
Protecting your account
You may want to protect your account by using this wizard, even if it has not been disabled.
WARNING: starting the wizard will lock your Facebook account Automatically, and you will be required to change your password and take some additional security steps, such as checking that your email passwords have been changed.
We recommend that you back up your Facebook profile regularly (we explain how in this guide). That way, you have at least a backup of all your data on your home machine, even if a tragedy occurs.
