Quiz On Facebook

ACTION 1: Login to your Facebook account. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the Applications tab in the lower left corner. On the menu that turns up, click Browse More Applications at the bottom.

ACTION 2: On the page of apps, there’s a Search Apps box near the upper left corner. Use that the box to look for the app Quiz Developer. I chose Test Developer due to the fact that it’s simple to determine and has fewer steps than some of the other test developers.

ACTION 3: Click the Test Creator application. On the next page that appears, click the button Go To Application in the upper left corner. Another page will appear to ask you to enable the application to access your individual information. Click Permit. Finally, you’ll get to the page where you start producing the test.

ACTION 4: On the very first page, you’ll be asked to enter some fundamental info about your quiz. Follow the triggers and enter your quiz name– for example, “Exactly what type of pet dog are you?” Fill out a brief description of the quiz. Publish an image from your computer to highlight your quiz.

ACTION 5: Get in the outcomes of your test– golden retriever, Labrador retriever, German shepherd, French bulldog– along with the descriptions the test taker will see together with their outcomes. Follow the triggers to publish a picture to accompany each outcome.

ACTION 6: Go into the questions for your quiz, and set the responses with the desired outcome. For example:

Questions: Exactly what is your preferred food?

Response: Anything– Labrador retriever

Answer: Caviar– poodle

Response: Steak– German shepherd

Response: Kibble– golden retriever

ACTION 7: Click Next. This takes you to a page with a giant button: Set up the Designer App. That pops open a new page. Click Allow. This is where the going gets challenging. Facebook requires lots of clicks to develop the actual test application.

ACTION 8: Return to the previous page, where there’s another giant button: YES, I have the Developer App. Click that.

ACTION 9: Take a deep breath. Exhale. You’re going to need to follow a lot of directions to turn up a bunch of windows. Some of them will direct you to yet other windows. The objective is to obtain some long, gibberish-to-you however important-to-the-computer text strings from one window, and paste them into another. Why do you even need to do that? I have no idea.

Facebook isn’t the biggest at user interfaces, and it suffers as a result. Numerous people will abandon the procedure here instead of hang in there. You’re a Gadgetwise reader, though, so make me proud and curse this multi-window authentication procedure even as you finish it. However after a half dozen windows with instructions composed by a software designer, asking you to please be patient type this into that window, you’ll suddenly have a page with your quiz displayed on it.

ACTION 10: The final step in the test development process requires you to invite one or more Facebook buddies to attempt your quiz. Now you know why you get so many of them.

And one more thing please don’t forget to share this awesome trick to use the Quiz On Facebook with your friends.
