This article explains how to reactivate your Snapchat account after it has been deleted for at least 30 days.
How to Have Your Snapchat Account Reactivated
Snapchat has a dedicated web page where you can uninstall your Snapchat account at Snapchat.com. Snapchat will deactivate your account for 30 days after you enter your credentials to confirm account deletion.
If you change your mind about deleting your account within those 30 days, you can opt to reactivate it. Snapchat, on the other hand, would erase your account permanently after 30 days.

Use the Snapchat mobile app to reactivate your account.
To reactivate your Snapchat account using the Snapchat app on your iOS or Android computer, follow these steps.
- Sign in to Snapchat using your username and password.
- You can’t log in or change your password using your email address. If you chose to make Snapchat remember your account login credentials, which helps you to log in automatically in most cases, tap Delete account to remove it and manually enter your credentials.
- A notification will appear before you log in, indicating how many days remain before your Snapchat account is permanently deleted. If you want to continue with restoring your account, choose Yes.
- You can also tap Cancel if you want to use this move to check how many days you have left before Snapchat deletes your account permanently.
- To avoid missing the 30-day deadline and eventually losing your account for good, make sure to log infrequently.
A new message will appear, requesting that you wait a few moments for the reactivation process to complete. You’ll get a confirmation message if you’ve checked your Snapchat account with your email address. To log back into your account when it’s ready, tap OK.
Waiting for Snapchat to reactivate your account
According to Snapchat, reactivating an account will take up to 24 hours. Reactivating accounts with a lot of data to recover (friends, conversations, saved chats, Memories, and more) can take the longest.
If you requested that your account be deleted and then attempted to reactivate it soon after, Snapchat may not have completed the deactivation process by the time you attempted to reactivate. You should have got an email confirming deletion/deactivation if you checked your email address.
If you still can’t log into your Snapchat account after more than 24 hours, try these Snapchat troubleshooting tips or contact Snapchat customer service to have their support team look into the problem for you.
What Do You Do If You Can’t Log In to Snapchat on Your Computer?
Even if you enter your login information correctly, you can receive a message that says, “Something went wrong, oops. Please come back later and try again.” The issue isn’t with your account or your account details. Since you’re trying to sign in from an emulator, Snapchat is most likely blocking you from accessing your account.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about it but contact Snapchat support and explain why you believe users should be able to use Snapchat via emulators like BlueStacks and others.
