The best cure for a hangover is a small, well-balanced meal that is not overly flavorful or sweet.
If you do awaken with a headache or a slight sluggish feeling in the morning, wash up and settle your stomach. Breakfast is best served with a couple of bananas or a banana smoothie. It is unmatched in its ability to stabilize blood sugar levels, as it contains three different types of sugar that break down slowly.
Consume a few slices of bread or something starchy and non-greasy, such as mashed potatoes or pasta, in addition to your bananas. By including these in your breakfast menu, you can gradually increase your blood sugar levels.
If you want to take the cure for a hangover one step further, take a few vitamin pills, as alcohol depletes your B and C vitamins. Are you unable to locate the pills in your medicine cabinet? As an alternative, sip a full glass of fresh orange juice.
And, perhaps most importantly, do not simply lie in bed. Get out there and exercise your body so that you can sweat out all the alcohol in your system.
