Install the Loomie app on your iPhone or Android device by following these steps:

  • To take a picture of yourself, press the shutter button. To get the best shot, make sure to obey the on-screen instructions.
  • Choose a Loomie variant from the options given. With the buttons at the bottom, you can change genders.
  • Create an account using the Sign In button and save your avatar for later use.
  • Go over any adjustments you’ll need to make.
  • When you’re done, press SAVE.

In Zoom, How to Use Your Loomie Avatar

It’s time to use your avatar now that you’ve built it:

  • LoomieLive can be downloaded and installed on your device.
  • To log in, open the software, go to the Menu gear icon in the upper right corner, and pick Login.
  • In the steps above, enter the same account details you used to create your account.
  • You have two options at this stage. Start the Zoom call and adjust the camera settings during the call, or change the camera settings before starting.
  • During a call, use the arrow next to Stop Video to select LoomieLive Camera+ to turn to your avatar camera.
  • Otherwise, go to Zoom’s top-right settings button and pick the Video tab from the left. Select Loomie from the drop-down menu next to Camera. That concludes our discussion. When you make a call via Zoom, your Loomie avatar will take your place.

What You Should Do About Your Avatar

You can still go back to your regular webcam from the same menu in Step 4, but if you don’t want to, you can unplug it entirely. It won’t get in the way of your avatar.

You must turn to LoomieLive and use the buttons on the right to submit animations by Zoom. A wave or a smile, for example, can be made using the appropriate emoticons.

Changing the backdrop, setting the “away” status, allowing the auto-laughter animation, and so on are all the same. Since you’re manipulating the virtual webcam directly from LoomieLive, anything you do will be mirrored instantly in Zoom.

Look for the camera choice in the program’s settings to get your avatar to function in other applications. If you already have a real webcam installed, simply turn to this one as described in Step 4 above. LoomieLive should be selected by default if you don’t have an existing camera or if you’ve unplugged it.
