Zenith Bank, like other banks in Nigeria, has USSD Code as well as a mobile bank application where transfers, airtime top-up, and other transactions can be done remotely with ease.
Zenith Bank Transfer with USSD
Transferring money using the USSD code is very easy to do and works on any phone. You do not need any internet connection to get it done. All you have to do is register your device using the phone number you receive an alert with.
How the Registration Works
Dial *966# via the line you receive an alert with. That is, the line you had provided when you opened the account.
A field command will be displayed like this:
1. Open an account
2. Get the card. Register
3. Check the balance
4. Airtime
5. Transfers
6. Self-service
7. Next
Choose the third option by pressing “3” to send. Another field will pop up asking for the last six digits on your ATM card. Copy it out and send it.
Once that is done successfully, you will be asked to generate a four-digit pin. This pin is to be known only by you. This pin will be required of you each time you need to perform debit transactions from your bank account. You need to provide a four-digit pin you will easily remember.
Once you’ve successfully done this, you can choose the 5th Option (as displayed above) after you have dialed *966#.
After you dial *966# and choose the Transfer option.
A field will appear requesting the amount you wish to send. Provide the amount and press “Send”.
Another field will appear requesting the account number you wish to transfer to. Type the number correctly and send. Once it is successful, bank names will be provided for you to choose from.
Once you have correctly chosen the bank name, a field will appear like this:
You are about to send:
Amount N79 to Recipient: Scholar.
Enter pin to confirm
The four-digit pin you had provided while registering your device as earlier explained is what you will supply. Once this is done, you will be informed about the status of your transaction. Whether or not it is successful

How to make transfers with Zenith Bank Mobile App
Download the Zenith Bank on the Google Play store. The registration process is similar to that of the USSD Code.
Follow the prompts. Provide the last six digits on your ATM card.
You will be sent an OTP. A one-time password. And the password will be sent to the phone number you had provided when you opened the account.

Do not have an ATM card?
If you do not have an ATM, this process can be bypassed.
However, it can only be bypassed by a Zenith Bank Customer representative. So, you have to visit any of their branches to get it done.
