How To Edit Limited Profile On Facebook: this article will teach you how to edit your Facebook profile on your Facebook account. The profile is what other Facebook users see whenever they check on you on Facebook, so it must be a representative of you.

You can see the public information that’s shown on your profile (example: hometown, education) in the Intro section below your profile picture.

To add or edit the public info that’s shown on your profile:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Hover over the Intro section below your profile picture and click.
  3. Select the info you’d like to show in your Intro section. To edit your information or choose who can see it, click Update Your Information at the bottom.
  4. Click Save.

    • Hi Diane,

      You don’t need to post your birthday on Facebook because Facebook automatically sent notifications to all your friends about your birthday. If you insist on sharing your birthday by yourself, just post it like your FB status and it will appear to all friends on their newsfeed.
