How to Change Hotmail password
Open the Hotmail page at Hotmail.com or Outlook.com. On the page, locate the small Setting icon at the top right corner i.e, between your name and the Skype icon; you’ll see options like feedback, change color theme, or help. Scroll down to “Options” and click.
There, you’ll see options like; preventing junk mails, customizing outlook.com, write and read emails. Navigate to “Manage your account” and “Account details (eg, password, addresses, time zone)”.
On clicking it, you’ll be asked to input your password, write it and sign in.
You will see “View basic information about your account page”, you’ll see options like; info, services, payment or devices, and others. Locate “Security & Privacy” and click on.
Now, you’ll see two options as Account Security and Online Safety. Click on Account Security and locate the change password and click.
Select the option to receive a security code and you can also select your alternative email; an email or SMS will be sent to your phone or the email address provided shortly.
You can now change your password. Make your account more secure with a minimum of eight (8) characters (mix both Uppercase and lowercase; use numbers as well as punctuation and/or other non-alphanumerics).
Click on save to submit and you have thereby changed your Hotmail password successfully and easily.
