Meet Evelyn Joshua – Everything You Need To Know

When you hear the name TB, it’s rare to hear that someone charmed him, but in this case, it’s loving and not jazz; everybody knows him as a mighty man of God and a prophet. I’m talking about his lovely mom, the beautiful lady with whom Heaven blessed TB Joshua.

Born on December 17, 1968, and was originally a native of the local government’s state district.

She was born into Mr and Mrs.’s family. She has a twin brother who doesn’t exist anymore. She had her secondary education At Orile primary school in Oshodi, Lagos; she completed her primary education.

Evelyn is a woman of strong will with a personality that is special. On the first day that they met each other, her simplicity and charisma were a charm to her husband. She’s a pastor’s wife, though, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s a pastor.

According to her in an interview, at the age of 22, Evelyn met her husband; the Man Of God suggested to her 45 minutes after they met. She recounted how the Prophet wooed her. Hear her out here:

“So, they said a lot of good things about him. I felt delighted. I called my sister outside at the end of the whole thing and asked if she could take me to the Prophet. I didn’t ask, out of curiosity, to go there. I needed a “then” reference.

“I had not told him about myself before then; we were looking at each other until, at a time, he wrote my name on the piece of paper. So, we started communicating. He told me a whole lot of things about myself, both things that I knew and those that I never knew”.

“I was surprised. He told me things about my family and my past, my present, even my future. We spent about 45 minutes. In the end, he talked to me in Yoruba language and said:

“Joo ma binu o. Ma ro pe bi mo se Nba gbogbo eniyan ti o ba wa s’odo mi soro ni eleyi o. Mi o ni ale, mi o dee fee ni ale. Sugbon, se oo fe mi?

(Which in Translation means: “Please, don’t be annoyed. I don’t think this is how I interact with people that come to me. I don’t have a lover, and I don’t want to have a lover. But can you marry me?)

It was strange, but that gives us an insight into what the Scripture says that the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. That was it. That was how I met him. Months later, I asked why he thought it was right to see a lady for the first time and propose to her. He said four days before that very day, he has seen me.

Evelyn was working at the Distilleries in Ota at that time while attending God Church’s Assemblies.

Evelyn got married in 1990 to T.B Joshua, and their union is blessed with three children.
Sarah studied law at the London School of Economics and was called to bar in December 2015. Their second child, Promise, is studying International Relations and Politics at the London School of Economics.

the two have shared similar interests despite being from different states
Evelyn Joshua has continued to help her husband while working in her husband’s ministry in meetings and counseling where her husband is Unavailable.

Indeed, God knows the best puzzle to make our lives complete; don’t worry if you haven’t found your right life partner; maybe God is planning the right one for you, possibly your story might be even better.
